Making progress!

When I stepped on the scale this morning my whole world lit up. When you finally start to see some drastic results it makes it so worth it.

Looking back at the past 14 years of being overweight is overwhelming. Who plans to be fat for that long? I certainly didn't. Loosing weight was something I always long to do but in the back of my mind I knew I was going to have more babies so I was never very successful.

Here I am shortly after my son Skyler was born. Its such a sweet picture, but it clearly depicts how much weight I have gained over the years.

Before I had my first child I weighed 145 pounds. Never in my wildest dreams would I think that I would struggle with my weight for the next 14 years.

Here is another picture of me and my sister who consequently is on her own weight loss challenge here If you have time go send her some love!!
I remember NOT wanting my picture taken this day. When you are this heavy you have no desire to have yourself photographed.

Its good to look back and see how far you have come (or have not come in my case). But mostly to set a goal for whare you want to be.

Way to go on your scale vitory! I hope you are super proud of yourself. I know when I hit moments where I saw a great number staring back and me and I can see some results I felt so proud. I haven't had many proud moments lately and really need to work on it. I've been struggling. Keep up the great work Rebekah.

Yeh for you. Did you purchase a book on the Mayo diet or just what you found online? I know you said you were also doing Ali on top of it.
Could you give some detailed info of what you are doing? You are an inspiration. Thanks

Awesome! Use the results to push yourself into high-gear, because if you can lose those 3, then it won't be long before the next 3! Don't do what we often do - give ourself an excuse to eat extra "Oh I can eat that slice of cake because I did really well the rest of the week and I lost weight, so I can "afford" it." NOT TRUE! The harder we keep pushing, the faster we get to the end goal. You're doing great. Reward yourself with a break, a bubble bath, or a sleep in (hehehe, yeah as if mum's could actually do that!) but NOT FOOD! You are rocking it. Keep going!!!
