Hi! I am new to your blog :) I liked your video. I tend to do my "cheat meal" on either Friday Night or Saturday. I weigh on Friday morning. I had gotten too lax and was doing both Friday and Saturday, but I had to stop that :) Best of luck to you :)
I tend to fall apart on the weekends because I'm out of school and am not required to do much of anything. I don't know what I'm going to do for "cheat meals" or "cheat days" yet, but my brother, who's lost over 100 pounds has cheat bites instead of whole meals. If he's craving something, he'll take a bite of his wife's food or of what others are eating. He won't have an entire meals worth of food.
Hi, 1. I eat everything in moderation so I don't think of anything I am eating as cheating as long as I am under my calorie goal. For most part as long as I am eating at home it's pretty easy to stay under.. if we eat out then I try to keep my meals small so I can have room but where my husband likes to go.. I don't know calorie count. It's not on the menu. So a full on cheat day isn't really all that often. But today I ate at the church picnic. I did well with the meal and had one hamburger and fruit but then I over did it on sweets. Then, I went to a friends daughter's 15th birthday party and I really over did it.. So today is really a cheat meal. I notice I tend to go in spurts of where I let loose.. I believe the last time I really let lookse for a few days was around my birthday at the end of May. It may slow down my loss a bit but I never really cheat so bad that I see a gain on the scale. I know sometimes sodium makes it go up but then it goes back down so I don't consider it a real gain. I would just try to work more of your favorite foods in with moderation.. also remember if your working out.. you do need more calories. If your burning 800 off at the gym and only ate 1500 so then that means you only "netted 900 calories for the day. That's not good. but having a heart rate monitor to know the count for sure helps. I also cycle my calories in some ways. So if I had 500 calories left over say yesterday but today I am extra hungry i don't mind using them up the next day. Well, feel like I am rambling. lol
